Our ceremony will be outdoors looking over a beautiful lake and the reception indoors. Words can't even explain how excited I am to see my dream finally coming true...There is a part of me that hurt because I don't have my dad here to walk me down the aisle but my son will stand in his place as he did when he was only 3 yrs old.

On August 13th my husband Isaac and I tied the knot. It was a very small and intimate ceremony at my husband's grandparents home under their carport. The only ones in attendance was his mom, his grandparents, his aunt and our son and daughter. Our 3 year old son gave me to his dad proudly as my husband's grandfather said "Who gives this woman to this man". He said ME with so much excitement and joy. At that very moment I didn't care who came or didn't come. It was all about me marrying the love of my life. The one person who made me feel complete, loved me through my flaws and even understood my crazy ways was eagerly waiting for me to become his wife. Plus any money we had went towards taking care of our children and maintaining our own apartment. Our honeymoon was spent at home with our 2 children. How cliche that the same night we created our daughter as well. As years went by throughout life's ups and downs we are still holding on with God's Grace and Mercy. We have been blessed with 5 beautiful children in our union.  Now that life has brought us to a place to where we are comfortable and I know that there is no other man for me I want to have the wedding that I have dreamed of since I was a little girl. As most of you know that I am no girly girl. Everything about me screams tomboy. I have never worn a pair of heels, never put on makeup and it's a rare treat to see me in a dress. All of these will be accomplished on the day we renew our vows and say I Do again. I want to be able to walk down the aisle before all of my friends and family and see the look on my husband face.
